Google (search engine) (May)

It is the most used search engine (79.65%[2]). Receives more than 41 billion 345 million requests per month, indexes more than 25 billion web pages, can find information in 191 languages (as of October 15, 2009).

The Google search engine was created as an educational project by Stanford University students Larry Page and Sergey Brin. They were working on the BackRub search engine in 1996, and in 1998 they created the new Google search engine based on it. From the first year of its existence, Google began to use the OKR method of transparent management, which determined the company’s development planning and corporate management approaches. Although the company was founded on September 2, 1998, and the Google.com domain was registered on September 15, 1997, the search engine (since 2000) sometimes celebrates its birthday on a different date: both on September 7 and 27. The word Google originated from the distortion of the name of the number 10, the number 100 degrees (10100) googol.

The Google search robot has a User Agent – Googlebot, which is the main robot that crawls the page content for the search index. Along with it, there are several other specialized robots:

Googlebot-Mobile – website indexing robot for mobile devices, laptops
Google Search Appliance (Google) gsa-crawler – Search Appliance new hardware-software crawler robot
Googlebot-Image – a robot that crawls the pages for the image index
Mediapartners-Google – A robot that captures page content for AdSense content determination
Adsbot-Google – A bot that captures content for evaluating the quality of AdWords landing pages.
Copyright issues
Edit
KaZaA and the Church of Scientology in the Digital Age (DMCA) used the Copyright Act to demand that Google remove links to material on their websites that they claimed was copyrighted.[8][9] Google is required by law to remove these links, but instead of removing the search results, it prefers to link the results to the complaints filed by these organizations.[9] The New York Times complained that the crawler’s caching of their content, a feature used by search engines, including Google Web Search, infringed copyright.[10] Google maintains standard Internet practices: a standard mechanism for opt-out of caching requests via the robots.txt mark, mega-tags that allow website administrators to exclude their site or part of it from search results, or allow a content editor to specify whether whether to index or archive the document and whether to go through the links in the document. The District Court of the State of Nevada, USA, decided that Google’s cache Field v. Google and Parker v. In the case of Google[11][12], according to American law, they do not violate rights.

Issues with privacy
Edit
The problems related to the violation of human rights first started for Google in 2005. During the creation of the Google Earth map, pictures of the roof of the American White House were used, which posed a threat to the national security of the United States. The American public was outraged by the fact that potential terrorists had the opportunity to view the defense system located on the roof of the White House in detail for the first time. In 2008, the Boring family of Pennsylvania sued Google for violating their privacy. Pictures of a married couple’s house and swimming pool were used during the creation of Google Street View global city virtual maps. The Borings immediately sued Google and demanded $25,000 in damages. However, according to the court’s decision, in 2010, they received only $1 from the company[13]. The American National Law and Policy Center (NLPC) also speaks against Google. In order to prove the violation of personal rights by the service, the members of the center present information about one of the Google executives (pictures of his house, license plates of cars parked near it, the name of the landscaping company, even the name of the security company whose clients were his neighbors) [14], which half collected the service in less than an hour. In addition, in 2010 it became known that while working on the Street View service, the Google company recorded the IP addresses and passwords of citizens. While photographing the streets and squares of various cities from special vehicles equipped with cameras, Google specialists were also engaged in recording the signals of Wi-Fi wireless networks. As a result, the company receives confidential codes and other information necessary for accessing e-mails of individuals and legal entities[15]. Currently, the Google company is seriously criticized for the violation of human rights related to the implementation of the Google Glass project. Wearing Google glasses is already banned in American cinemas, casinos and strip clubs. Their owners are wary that their visitors can take pictures with these glasses. In addition, a ban on wearing glasses may soon be adopted by US banks and park authorities.

.In 2012, Google provided the US authorities with the data of several WikiLeaks employees: contents of mailings, metadata, registration information, and other data, and only 2.5 years later informed users about it[17][18][19]. In the summer of 2013, thanks to Edward Snowden, a former employee of the American special services, it became known that the American government paid millions of dollars to Google, Yahoo, Microsoft and Facebook, for the disclosure of information about Internet users[20]. According to the documents, the costs were covered by a division of the National Security Agency known as the Special Sources Task Force. In response, Google’s general counsel, David Drummond, blogged about the company’s open letter to the US attorney general and the director of the FBI (English: Federal Bureau of Investigation, FBI), in which it asks to be allowed to publish detailed information in the Transparency Report regularly, including government inquiries. on requests based on the law on the control of activities of foreign special services. According to Drummond, the requests did not provide the US government with direct access to user data.

Some Google specialists participated in the events of the Arab Spring, speaking in favor of “the protection of democratic values and human rights”. Wail Ghonim, Google’s director of marketing in the Middle East and North Africa, advocates the overthrow of Hosni Mubarak’s regime during the 2011 unrest in Egypt. He created a page on the Facebook social network, where he condemned the violence against the citizens of Egypt by the governing authorities and coordinated the actions of the protesters. Ghonim described the Egyptian protest movement as a “Facebook revolution” and noted that the Internet played an extremely important role[22]. In addition, shortly after the events of the Arab Spring, Google representatives announced that they were working to make it easier to get information and the company’s products in the Middle East and North Africa. The American company’s goal in this regard is to ensure that a larger number of Arabic speakers can access their products. In 2011, the company released the Arabic versions of Google Voice and Google+ and represented two museums located in Qatar in the Art Project, and in 2012 invited the president of Tunisia to speak through the Google+ Hangout On Air video streaming service.[23] Google also has serious demands on the Chinese government to limit its citizens’ access to information on the Internet.

Query syntax
Edit
The Google interface contains a rather complex query language that allows you to limit the scope of the search by individual domains, languages, character types, etc. For example, searching for “intitle:Google site:wikipedia.org” returns all Wikipedia articles in all languages with the word Google in the title. In the hands of hackers, the powerful query language can be used to probe websites for vulnerabilities.[25]

Search in found
Edit
For search results, Google previously introduced a double search feature, which allowed the search to be more detailed. For a more detailed search, users would specify additional parameters to select the results, allowing not only the query to be retrieved, but also the context in which it was applied. This feature simplified the search process by eliminating the need to open each result.

Wikisearch
Edit
It is a search technology that allows the user to customize the results of their search queries. The user can remove results from the list and move up the list. Google released this technology in the spring of 2009 and developed it until the fall. The setting to enable “wikisearch” remains in the search settings, but the corresponding control elements are missing in the output. Other search engines have not yet introduced such functions.

Voice search
Edit
To perform a search, you need to click on the button next to the phone’s search bar and say the request, the phone sends your voice to the server and the browser outputs a line containing your request and its search result. Since 2014, voice search activation without touching the screen has been available. On phones with Android version 4.3 or higher, it is enough to say “OK Google”[26] and the function is activated.

The current official Google logo has been in effect since September 1, 2015. Unlike the previous logo, the new one uses a font without marking (Product Sans), as well as softer colors.[27] On the occasion of any holiday or the anniversary of a well-known celebrity, the Google logo in several, and sometimes all regional domains can be changed to a holiday with a certain theme, thought, but in Google style: Holiday and Events — Google style!. After a long wait, on March 22, 2011, Google won the patent for “Google Doodle”.

“Google” Google’s operational management includes various management teams and objectives. The company applies 10 operational management decisions in all its activities. These 10 decision areas in the operations management process refer to various activities that contribute to organizational success. For example, Google’s product design process is directly related to product and service decision making, as well as other operational management decision areas, such as quality management (how to keep product quality consistent) and job design and human resources (such as the adequacy of human resources for production to ensure). By addressing these 10 operational management decision areas, Google maintains efficient operations that meet profitability goals. The 10 operational management decisions apply to Google’s businesses. The company uses a holistic approach to successfully address these decision areas.

Design of products and services. Product design at Google involves different teams for the company’s different products. This area of operational management decision is applied based on market research, trends and forecasts. For example, Google uses predictions of future user expectations to develop the best apps for desktop and mobile users.
Quality management. This operational management decision area is applied at Google through iterative testing, regulation, and innovation, as well as user involvement. Double testing and tuning are used throughout the company’s facilities to ensure that products reach the market with minimal errors. Also, Google frequently invites users to submit bug reports, which the company can use to improve product quality.

Location strategy. For Google-based digital products, this area of operational management decision is of minimal importance because these products are distributed over the Internet. However, for support operations, the company maintains facilities around the world, such as offices in California and Singapore. For products like Nexus and Chromecast, this area of action management decision is implemented at Google through a network connection with suppliers or original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).
Layout design and strategy. This operational management decision area is applied at Google in terms of how the company designs its workflows and capabilities. The company is known for innovative and creative environments. When developing web and software products, Google uses efficient workflows that are integrated for creative ideas for their offices, such as the Googleplex in California. This strategy combines efficiency and creativity.
Human resources and job design. Human resource management at Google addresses this decision area of operational management by emphasizing employee intelligence and excellence. The company favors smart employees with less regard for experience. To retain talent, Google uses highly competitive compensation packages that include high salaries and incentives such as free meals.
Supply chain management. Google uses its advanced information systems to manage its supply chain. For this operational management decision area, the company analyzes inventory records to forecast demand and inform suppliers and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).
Inventory management. In this operational management decision area, Google’s inventory management uses different types of inventory to suit the needs of its different businesses. The company also uses automation to control inventory. Such automation is particularly significant in Google’s inventory management of web-based and software products.

Planning. In this operational management decision area, Google has perfected the use of automation. The company automates certain processes, such as inspections and monitoring productivity levels. For operations in offices, Google also applies scheduling through flexible approaches, taking into account changes in employee availability.
Maintenance. Google needs to maintain information systems, servers and capabilities. To do this, the company has allocated special teams for maintenance. These teams are classified as operations and support.

Due to the popularity of the search engine, the English language appeared in the English language to google or to Google, which is used to designate information search on the Internet with the help of Google. It is with this meaning that the verb was entered into the most authoritative dictionaries of the English language, the Oxford Dictionary of the English Language and Merriam-Webster[28], although other sources give examples of the use of the word in the general sense of doing some search on the Internet. The first user of the word as a verb was Larry Page, signing one of his mailing list messages on July 8, 1998: “Have fun and keep googling!”[29]. The American dialectical society called the verb “to google” the word of the decade[30]. Wary of potential trademark loss, Google discourages the use of the verb, especially when it comes to searching the Internet in general. For example, on February 23, 2003, the company sent a “cease and desist” (English: cease and desist) letter[31] to Paul McPhedries, the founder of the news tracking site Word Spy.[32] Also, in his Washington Post article, Frank Ahrens discusses the letter he received from Google’s lawyers clarifying the “correct” and “incorrect” usage of the verb. In response to this article, the lexicographers of the Merriam-Webster dictionary note that the verb to google is written in lowercase, but to use the Google search engine to seek online information – to use the Google search engine to seek online information Google), but the editors of the Oxford dictionary did not preserve both “versions” for history[33]. In 2006, Google publicly issued a statement requiring the use of Google-derived words only when referring to the Google company or its services.

Stone Age (march)

Middle Paleolithic or Middle Old Stone Age, a period in human history, the middle period of the Old Stone Age. It began after the end of the Lower Paleolithic, 300,000 years ago, and ended 30,000 years ago. The conclusion was used by African archaeologists[1]. Since this period completely coincided with the Moustierian of the Middle Paleolithic cultures, it is also called the “Mustierian” stone age.

According to archaeologists, 100-70 thousand years ago, Homo erectus and Neanderthals from the pre-human species entered Europe and Asia from Africa[2].

Prehuman, the ancestor of modern man, begins to use more elaborate stone tools. In this era, prehumans engage in hunting and semi-nomadic animal husbandry, the first sedentary agricultural cultures appear.

The earliest ideas about human behavior as a new, purely human being, more or less different from other representatives of the animal world, refer to the Middle Paleolithic [1].

Stations related to this era were found in Krapina (Croatia, 130,000 years ago), Kafze (Israel, 100,000 years ago). According to some archaeologists, some Middle Paleolithic cultures also had religious ideologies related to the afterlife; it is related to the inventions of burial grounds.

The study of various materials of the Mousterian region allows to draw more solid conclusions about the main features of people’s social life. Late Mousterian tools indicate not only the sophistication of Neanderthal man’s work, but also the close relationship and direct succession between the Middle and Upper Paleolithic.

Thanks to agriculture and animal husbandry, the significant increase in material production must have affected the nature of the primitive community. The need to hunt large animals, in turn, required the organization of Neanderthal hunters, higher abilities to attack in groups; sedentism and the constant fire of the hearth also contributed to the internal consolidation of the primitive community. The simple form of human cohabitation acquires some new features which were the first step towards the tribal order. The emergence of new social phenomena is accompanied by the emergence of primitive religious ideas, which is undeniably evidenced by the conscious burials of Neanderthals in the caves of a number of countries. According to Neanderthals, man continued to live even after death.

Thus, the primitive community of Neanderthals is characterized by the discovery of ways to obtain fire and the wide use of fire, hunting and the improvement and sophistication of work tools. A natural division of labor develops. Vegetable food, with the appearance of more advanced tools, is supplemented with meat food. Fire, simple shelters, and clothing made of fur enable man to inhabit most of the earth. From the point of view of historical development, that period can be seen as the final stage of the primitive herd.

The Middle Paleolithic developed in different places of the earth. As mentioned, the Moustierian culture (300 – 30,000 years ago) fully corresponds to that era. It got its name from Le Moustier cave in France. Many stone tools and devices were found there, which give an opportunity to form an idea about the life of a person of that time. This culture mainly refers to the countries of the Mediterranean basin. It was at this time that the glacier began to melt and the climatic conditions began to change.

4 Middle Paleolithic cultures are found on the continent of Africa:

Sangoian culture (500 – 12 thousand years ago), Congo River basin
Aterian culture (90 – 30 thousand years ago), Atlas Mountains and north of the Sahara desert
Stilbean culture (71.9 – 71 thousand years ago) and Howisons-Port industry (65.8 – 59.5 thousand years ago), South Africa
Based on the local branch of the Mousterian culture in the Middle East, the Emirian culture developed in the last millennia of the Middle Paleolithic era (about 47 – 36 thousand years ago). It is followed by the last period of the Old Stone Age, the Upper or Late Paleolithic.

Chameleon (april)

A chameleon is a reptile belonging to the lizard family, which is known to change its color. Hence his name (the chameleon was a mystic who could change his appearance).

The body length of the majority of this species reaches 30 cm, the largest ones are 50-60 cm, and the smallest ones are 3-5 cm. His head looks like a helmet and is sometimes decorated with small poses. Its legs are long and adapted for climbing. The paws have the shape of claws, which can hold firmly on tree branches. The tail is thick near the base and gradually tapers. It can curl downwards and can hang from branches. Chameleons have unusual visual organs. His eyes are bulging and have a vision hole. A chameleon can look in different directions at the same time, which is very useful for hunting.

While hunting, chameleons sit for a long time on a tree branch. During this time, his body remains motionless, and his eyes are constantly in motion. It catches insects with its tongue, which has a sticky substance on its tip. A chameleon can recognize and catch four insects in three seconds. When the tongue is “not working” it is held by the bone in the lower jaw. If the victim is too heavy to catch with the tongue, it immediately catches it with the mouth.

The ability to change the color of chameleons, which is unique to all species, is very well known. The color change depends on the unique structure of their skin. In the inner layer of their skin there are special cells, chromatophores, which contain pigments of different colors. It is thanks to them that the chameleon is able to change the color of its skin. He is able to change the color of his whole body, as well as a part of his body, which can be accompanied by different stripes or putters. The color change can be the result of temperature, light, humidity change, or the result of hunger, thirst, fear. The advantage of this feature is that they can take on the color of the environment and take cover.

Chameleons are mainly distributed in Africa, southern Sahara and the island of Madagascar, but some species are found in northern Africa, southern Europe, the Middle East, southern India and the island of Sri Lanka. There are also representatives in Hawaii, California and Florida. The chameleon lives in all types of tropical forests, savannas and sometimes deserts.

The oldest found species was found in Europe (about 26 million years). Although it is clear that chameleons are older. Remains have also been found in Asia and Africa. It is believed that chameleons were more common in ancient times than now. Their roots come from Madagascar, which is home to more than half of this species today.

The strongest woman in my life

In fact, no matter how lively and smiling a girl I am, everything is upside down in my heart and soul. Every day I try to put a smile on my face like a flawless artist and it works. I would like someone else to understand and realize everything that I have gone through and seen. However, in the most difficult and difficult moments, when I thought that I was completely alone, my mother supported and helped me. For me, my mother is one of the strongest unbreakable women in the world. Although he lost both a child and a brother, he never surrendered to the harsh and bitter reality. He continued to live and with his spirit made me understand that no matter what happens, you should never give up and fall. I copy all branches of my mother’s character, starting with my mother’s courage, the type who never gives up, always supports and helps, willing, kind, forgetting to think about her little problems, going against her pains so that I don’t suddenly despair; My mother is the only bandage, and I will not single out any woman in the world except my mother. I am also a copy of my mother.

Karmravor Church

The Red Church was built in the 7th century. In the 2nd half, the dome is built of hewn red tuff stones. It is beautiful, with harmonious proportions, high-art volumetric composition. Paintings of the 7th century characteristic of Eastern Christian art have been preserved inside. remains of frescoes. On the dome is depicted “Christ in glory”, and on the western crucifix are depicted holy horsemen with corresponding inscriptions. XII Karmrovor was a congregation and a place of pilgrimage in the years 480-1813. The grave of the great Armenian poet Gevorg Emin is also located here.

Two noteworthy antiquities are still kept there. The first of them is an Indian painted curtain, which was brought in 1798-99. from Calcutta, and the other, Shukhonts gospel, is a handwritten gospel, which was published in 1873. donated by the Shukhyants family from Tarar.

There are several opinions regarding the naming of churches. One of them says: in one of the frescoes of the White Church, the headdress of the Holy Virgin Mary is white, and Redness and Apricot are red and apricot, respectively.

This year I have done a lot of work. I’ve been thinking a lot about my personal projects, writing a story, Christmas, carnivorous plants, the Bible, anomalous phenomena. You can see details of each of my projects in my blog post.In the story writing project, I presented the story I wrote about the family and the dog. In the project about the New Year, I presented the old Armenian New Year, all rituals and traditions. The carnivorous plants project was about the amazing plants of the world. The presentation of the Bible was very complicated and long, as I tried to gather material from all the detailed points. I presented about anomalous phenomena and told about the wonders of the world. There is a place in Armenia where if you put any object on the flat slope of the road, it has nothing to do with the mass of the object and that flat slope will rise by itself.

Bible

The Bible means inspired by God / written by God’s inspiration / “Holy Book”. hence the name Bible. The Bible is the story of God’s creation. It summarizes the philosophy of life from time immemorial, the enormous life experience accumulated by people, the ideas of our ancestors regarding the creation of the universe and the world and the historical gaps. Separate parts or books of the holy book were written by about 4 dozen authors over 1500 years. The Bible consists of the Old and New Testaments. The Old Testament contains 48 books and was written before the birth of Jesus Christ. The Old Testament is divided into 4 main parts: the Law, which contains the Pentateuch (the five books of Moses), the Historical Books, the Prophets, and the Wisdom Books. The Old Testament is about creation. in the beginning, God created the universe – the sky and the earth, the sea and the land, the flora and fauna, then the first people, Adam and Eve, settled them in paradise. Adam and Eve, following the counsel of the evil (Satan), sinned against God and were expelled from Paradise. As a result of the first sin, man became mortal and moved further and further away from God. The Old Testament talks about God’s covenant with man, about the Savior, who was supposed to save humanity from the dominion of evil. Salvation is the central theme of the Bible, connecting the Old and New Testaments. Almost all the books of the Old Testament – prophecies, psalms – talk about the coming of the Savior. The New Testament was written after the birth of Christ, in the first century in which our era began. In the New Testament, in the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, it is told about the birth, life, doctrine and sacrifice of the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. The Holy Virgin Mary gave birth to Jesus Christ by divine guidance. Jesus took upon himself the sin of all mankind and was crucified, defeating the devil. Through the Lord’s salvation, mankind joined the creator, the Creator. After the miraculous Resurrection of Jesus Christ, his disciples, the apostles, spread the gospel of Christ’s salvation, the good news. The letters of the apostles, which summarize the Lord’s words to Christians, as well as Revelation, which tells about the end of the world, are included in the new testament. The Old Testament is written in ancient Hebrew, partly in Aramaic, the New Testament is written mostly in ancient Greek. The Bible has been translated into almost every language in the world. It was translated into Armenian in the 5th century, immediately after the invention of writing. Translated by Sahak Partev and Mesrop Mashtots and their students. The Armenian translation of the Bible is so conscientious and perfect that the French scholar La Croze (1661-1719) considered it the “Queen’s translation”.

From the 5th century

The title page of the first Armenian edition of the Bible – (1666, Amsterdam)
Armenian theologians interpreted the Bible and wrote works. The Bible greatly contributed to the intellectual and spiritual development of Christian peoples. Many literary and artistic works have been created on biblical themes. The Bible teaches us to love God with all our heart and with all our being, and to love our neighbor, and to do for him all that we would have others do for us.

The flying carpet

They happen, they don’t happen: a wife and three sons. One day, when the boys’ mother was in the store, she saw a unique colorful picture. The picture showed a castle on top of a mountain and animals grazing around it. He likes the scenery so much that he decides to spend all his money just to get it. Returning home, he finds a special place for the picture and hangs it. The youngest son advises his mother to make a carpet like the picture, which the mother accepts with great enthusiasm. He starts working from morning to midnight, working continuously and taking care of his family at the same time. This lasts for 3 years. After finishing, the mother hangs the carpet. Half of the mole scene was made up, and the other half was close to reality. Everyone was amazed by his abilities. But suddenly one day a strong wind blows, taking the carpet with it. From that day on, the mother fell seriously ill. He refuses to take medicine and stares unblinkingly at the sky from the window. It was necessary to heal and treat the mother. The older boy decides to leave the house, travel around the world and definitely find the carpet. Lo and behold, he goes and never comes back. The second boy also decides to go in search, but disappears like the first. I wonder what was the reason? The third boy, seeing his mother’s weak condition, starts his journey too. He goes, goes, reaches the valley and stops. There he meets an old woman and a stone horse. The good woman says: – I know why you came. The fairies living on top of the mountain took the rug your mother made. To get to the top of the mountain, you have to go through a difficult path with an icy sea and many volcanoes. After finishing the speech, he gives the boy a bag of gold and adds: – I give gold to everyone. Your brothers also received and probably forgot about the sick mother who was waiting for them. If you want to cross the road, you will need a horse. Give him one of your teeth and he will come back to life. The boy does as the old woman says, and the horse immediately moves. The horse takes him through the volcanoes, the sea and brings him to the place. The boy looks ahead and sees a glass palace. In the palace, the carpet was placed before the fairies, who were trying to do their own thing. Standing in the distance, the fairy in the red dress admires the boy’s strength of will and courage. the boy was not attracted by the temptation of gold, but came after the carpet. Perry approaches and says at once: – Let the carpet stay tonight so we can finish our work, we will give it to you tomorrow. She secretly adds her portrait to the carpet, and the boy feels his eyes closing. He wakes up in the morning and sees that he is already on a flying carpet. The carpet brings the boy home in an instant. Oh, joy to you! The younger son had returned, bringing with him his favorite rug. The mother looks at the carpet and remains speechless. Before the eyes, the image of the carpet turns into reality. the castle of dreams stands around, then the gardens full of flowers and fruits, the lakes spread, and in the distance a girl standing on the river bank can be seen. The girl was the fairy in the red dress whom the boy met on the top of the mountain. After all this, the mother is cured and the youngest son marries the fairy in the red dress. Their family lives long and happily in the castle of their dreams.
